Welcome to the official website of the Essex County Branch of the NAACP. We are committed to advancing justice, equality, and civil rights for all residents of Essex County, Virginia. Our branch works tirelessly to ensure that every individual, regardless of race, creed, or background, has equal access to opportunities and fair treatment in our community.
Our Mission
The mission of the NAACP Essex County Branch is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.
